Africa For Social Change (AFSC) is dedicated to empowering children, youth and adults through education, skills development, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. We work with refugees and host communities to remove barriers to learning and economic self-reliance, enabling people of all ages and genders to build better futures.

Our Specific Objectives
Empowering Children Through Education and Youth and Adults Through Opportunity
To improve access to quality education and practical skills for individuals and communities to enhance personal development and social inclusion.
To equip individuals with vocational, entrepreneurial, and employable skills that increase self-reliance and economic opportunities.
To promote sustainable livelihoods and economic empowerment through income-generating activities, entrepreneurship support, and financial literacy.
To strengthen community capacity and resilience by linking education and skills development to economic and livelihood opportunities.
To promote inclusive and equal access to opportunities for all genders and vulnerable groups within communities.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE
To improve the social and economic well-being of children, youth, and adults by strengthening access to education and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Our Program Areas
AFSC operates through the following core programs, clearly structured by age group:
Education Program (Children)
The Education Program focuses on supporting children to access inclusive, safe and quality learning opportunities while promoting holistic development and a strong appreciation for education.
Under the Education Program, AFSC focuses on:
Education support for vulnerable children to enroll in and remain in school.



Establishment of safe learning and library spaces for children with limited access to education resources.


School-based sports tournament to promote teamwork and raise awareness on the value of education.








Digital literacy to introduce basic technology skills and safe use of digital tools.




Creative arts activities to nurture children’s talent and self-expression.











AFSC uses education, sports, digital skills and arts as complementary tools to keep children in school and help them value learning.
Livelihoods Program (Youth and Adults)
The livelihoods Program supports youth and adults to achieve self-reliance and improved economic well-being through practical skills development, entrepreneurship and income-generating opportunities.
